In October 2026, EFIL will launch a free online course for teachers and educators, hosted on AFS Learning. It focuses on the internationalisation of school education and on assessing the transversal competences developed through long-term individual pupil mobility. ✈️✅
Throughout the course, participants will explore how learning mobility works in practice, what intercultural competence and other transversal competences look like in school settings, and how to assess learning outcomes from a long-term stay abroad. The course also covers key tools that support quality mobility, such as the Learning Agreement and processes linked to the recognition of learning periods abroad.

The course is designed for secondary school teachers, school heads and school staff, as well as anyone interested in school internationalisation and the assessment of transversal competences.
