The Y-MED study visit to Morocco just wrapped up! 17 volunteers and staff from AFS Partners in Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary, Italy, Turkey and Egypt were hosted by ILCS: Institute for Leadership and Communication Studies – an AFS Global Affiliate – in Rabat as a part of the Erasmus+ project ‘Youth Mobility in EuroMed’ (Y-MED). The study visit aimed at providing the participants with a first discovery of the EuroMed region through cultural immersion, and together discover the opportunities and challenges of youth mobility between the European and South Mediterranean regions. The visit built on the outcomes from the focus groups the project partners have been organising, and the learnings from the study visit will feed into the upcoming Y-MED activities: the EPOT Training for Trainers in Egypt in May, the training for volunteers in Hungary in October, and the anticipated project results.
