On 14-15 March the 4th meeting of the European Badge Alliance project took place in Brussels, hosted at the office of Youth for Exchange and Understanding.

The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the outcomes of the piloting of the different badge frameworks and therefore provide input for further development of the Badgecraft platform and the drafting of the policy recommendations.

Another important topic on the agenda was the planning of the final conference in Brussels on 27 June. It will be a one day event with an opening at the European Parliament, hosted by MEP Svetoslav Malinov, rapporteur of the European Parliament’s report on the Europass’ revision, and an afternoon focused on the practical use of badges in learning mobility projects. Here you can read the full programme.

As EFIL, we are happy with the cooperation with project partners and we are looking forward to using Badges more and more in our European trimester programme. We have presented Badges at the Programme Director’s meeting in Sweden, and included information about this tool in the new ECTP Booklet for participants which was distributed in mid April to AFS offices.
