The Prep Team meeting for the 8th edition of the EFIL Volunteer Summer Summit (9-14 August 2015) took place in Germany, this year’s host of the network’s largest international volunteer gathering. From 29 January to 1 February the Prep Team consisting of Anne Reck (Germany), David Kalwar (Germany), Egill Thorarinsson (Iceland/Sweden), Gert Lucas (Germany), Inga Menke (EFIL), Marín Björt Valtýsdóttir (EFIL), Pieter Verstuyf (Belgium Flanders/UK) and Valentina Milanese (Italy), met in Blossin, Germany. The venue is located near a beautiful lake only an hour’s drive away from Berlin.
The theme of this year’s VSS is Democratic Citizenship. More information, including the 1st Herald, can be found on the VSS website www.efilsummersummit.org.
