Since beginning of March EFIL has a new European Pool of Representatives (EPOR) with a mandate of 2 years.

The Pool is made of 17 AFS volunteers coming from 11 countries. 9 members have already been in the Pool for 1 year or more: we are glad to see this continuity which allows for peer support to the new members. The 7 new EPORies are now following the mandatory online course on the EFIL group in AFS World Café.

Within the new Pool, two new permanent representatives were selected:

–          Lukas Findeisen – AFS Germany, will be representing EFIL towards the EU structured dialogue with young people from July 2017 to December 2018.

–          Alexandra Ruivo Cordeiro – AFS Portugal, will be representing EFIL towards the European Youth Forum from May 2017 to April 2020

Charlotte Klinting – AFS Denmark, is still representing EFIL towards the Advisory Council on Youth of the Council of Europe for the mandate 2016-2017 and for the one 2018-2019 since she has just been re-elected!

These three representatives constitute the so-called EPOR core group which cooperates closely together with the Advocacy co-ordinator at EFIL secretariat.

Also, EFIL has co-opted Emilija Gagrčin (AFS Germany/Serbia), former TICLAB member, to represent EFIL in the Education Expert Group of the European Youth Forum.
