Did you know that an average person spends about 6 hours a day in front of a screen? We, our friends, and our surroundings spend a significant amount of time and interact daily through various devices such as phones, laptops, tablets, etc. What opportunities do we have in this digital presence?
In this session, we will define the concept of digital citizenship. We will discuss tools and methods related to media literacy and online activism. We will talk about the accuracy of online information, the impact of its misuse on society, and what we can do in such situations. We will seek answers to questions like whether political change and inclusivity are possible on digital platforms, and how to stay safe while doing all these.
