EXPECTED RESULT 1.1

Confirm and strengthen EFIL’s position as a key player in European and EU exchange programmes and projects, and in non-European countries if supported by the EU institutions.

Sub-Results:
• Ensure EFIL’s common and credible identity in Europe. (visibility)
• Ensure EFIL’s leading role in European debates and programmes affecting the AFS core business. (leadership and lobbying)
• Ensure EFIL’s involvement in strategic alliances and relationships that are of interest to AFS core business. (external partnerships and networking)

EXPECTED RESULT 1.2

Promote intercultural learning to develop global responsible citizenship, this way strenghtening the profile of EFIL as a leader in intercultural learning and global education.

Sub-Result:
• Promote intercultural learning through appropriate initiatives such as trainings, seminars and research, to develop global responsible citizenship among young people.

EXPECTED RESULT 2.1

Increase the capacity of European Member Organisations to grow with quality and empower them to operate within the new European environment.

Sub-Results:
• Facilitate consulting opportunities to Member Organisations in implementing organisational development efforts and capacity building. (consultancy and coaching)
• Support Members in developing skills and gaining knowledge so that they will be better equipped to grow with quality. (training and sharing)
• Support Members to develop, set up and run new and existing programmes, and facilitate incentives. (development of programmes)
• Make Members aware of existing and upcoming European issues affecting the AFS core business. (information and communication)

EXPECTED RESULT 2.2

Increase European programme activities by developing new Partners or representations in various European Union Member States (including EEA countries), and secondly in non-EU countries if supported by the EU institutions.

Sub-Results:
• Include new Partners into core programmes and EFIL. (EFIL’s enlargement)
• Ensure long-term benefits of Partner and programme development efforts by setting up a framework and strategy for future use. (framework for new Partner development)
