EFIL is looking for…
a new EVS (European Voluntary Service) volunteer for the Secretariat as of September 2008
for a period of 12 months. We are looking for a volunteer between the age of 18 and 30 to join our team as of September ’08. You can find a detailed description of the tasks here.
- be fluent in English
- have some background in voluntary work
- have good computer skills (Word, Excel, and Internet)
- have good coordination and communication skills
- come from an EU, South Eastern European country, Russia, Norway, Iceland, Turkey or Mediterranean country
Travel costs to Brussels and back, board and lodging, insurance, a language course either in Dutch or French and pocket money (105 Euro/month) will be covered by us.

One little reminder: All organisations taking part in an EVS project should have been accredited in the appropriate way meaning that a body involved as a sending organisation in the project must be accredited as a sending organisation.
Through their accreditation EVS organisations agree to adhere to the ‘EVS Charter’. Accreditation serves to gain access to EVS and to ensure a common quality standard in EVS.
European non-governmental organisation located in Programme Countries and international governmental organisations located in Programme Countries and South East Europe are accredited by the Executive Agency. They can submit an ‘Expression of Interest’, preferably in English, by post and by email, to:

The Expression of Interest form can be downloaded from the EACEA website.
There is no deadline to submit an Expressions of Interest: it can be submitted on a continuous basis and accreditors take a decision, in principle, within 6 weeks. The same organisation may request one or more types of accreditation (as sending, as host, as coordinating organisation). In case of approval the accreditation will have a validity of three years.
